Simmons-Hounsou is tapping into her far-east side and her inner/outer beauty. She was due to launch a skincare line named Shinto-Clinical this spring (per the brands site).Knowing Kimora she had to send it back to the lab and the chemists are probably starting from scratch (hah!) I can hear her now, "Uh Uh it's gotta be the best Asian/Black product on the shelf - It's gotta POP, make a girl feel BLINGY!" That Kimora is a trip but she gets the business.
Just so you know - SHINTO is the indigenous faith of the Japanese people and as old as Japan itself. Starting about 500 BCE (or earlier) it was originally "an amorphous mix of nature worship. (www.wikipedia.com).
Kudos to the diva for keeping her roots apart of everything that she produces!
