In 2007, Usher signed a sweet deal with the Liz Claiborne house and launched his debut fragrance Usher He and She (duo). Just like his music career Raymond had to keep the creativity coming as long as the competition continued to grow by inventing a series of fragrances branded in conjunction to his image.He launched UR - a follow up line to USHER SHE-in early 2008 and VIP in 2009. Usher stepped up to the plate with the big wigs in the fashion and beauty industry; in addition to fellow superstars with launching a string of smell goods! To top that news off -- when the Liz Claiborne company kicked the fragrances division to the curb - Raymond took off with this line of cologne and perfumes and inked a licensing deal with Elizabeth Arden -who houses Jay-Z's Roc-A-Wear and Mariah Carey's fragrances.
